Story Behind the Art:
'I once had the chance to go to the Yao hill tribe where I saw women braiding threads to make accessories. Their technique and style has been passed down from mother to daughter,' recalls Napapat. 'I wanted to learn although they told me it was difficult. Eventually I started to craft my own designs with silver and waxed cords so they don't fray. Friends and family love my designs, and the fact I've managed to preserve the ethnic essence we all love.'
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
