Story Behind the Art:
'My name, Sena, means 'bringing heaven to earth' in the language of the Ewe people of Ghana,' says Joycelyn Sena Zigah. 'My parents had to travel miles for me to be born, so my mother has considered me special after that experience. My mother traded in earrings, necklaces and beads so I naturally followed up. It has been a challenge working in a male-dominated field, fortunately I am one tough cookie so I don't get pushed over easily.'
